Our goal is to improve the quality of cancer treatment in Latin American countries, providing procedures such as: bi-dimensional conventional radiotherapy (2D), conformal tri-dimensional radiotherapy (3D), intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), chemotherapy, and in the near future, brachytherapy.
ONCOSERV has established itself as the most advanced radiotherapy treatment center in the Dominican Republic, with two linear accelerators, one of which has the highest energy capability in the country, and the other is the only accelerator to provide direct intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), not via compensating filters. With this equipment, tumors that were previously untreatable due to their critical position or the impossibility of re-irradiation are now fully treatable.
